Is anybody in Canada using ethanol like an Aviation Fuel in daily use by 2005/6? My last data about using ethanol fuel in aviation are coming from USA ( Baylor University - Max Shauck or South Dakota State University - Dennis Helder) and Brazil ( AvAlc and Ipanema - Embraer). If I know first flights in Canada was piloted by Ron Newberg - President of Canadian Aero Engine ....in 1996!! But in Canada 10 years after ?

I'm an AME and Comm heli pilot, saw a Vans years ago in Boundry Bay (?) with some of the nicest metal work. Plus the look of these really does something for me. Is there a place where I could get a poster size photo of a -3 or -4 taildragger? Something to look at for the shop wall. Are there any in Kamloops? I don't get out much but would be nice to look at one. Thanks, good site!

I am seriously considering building and RV7a, having now purchased the preview plans set. However I still have never flown in one so perhaps that will come first ;-) I am also looking, at the moment, for anyone that might be going to Oshkosh this year. I have driven there twice (with companions) but it looks like I'd be stuck on my own this year, which will make it improbable. If there is anyone in your group that might be interested in going, I'd be interested in talking to them. Regards Bob Heller

My need (?) for a fast cross-country aircraft is gone and I'm looking to fly lower and slower with a Gull 2000 w/ hirth engine. I posted an add November 11th and have had two hits. I've had no luck anywhere else on the net with same. That is, I have not been able to post an ad with any other site! Again, thank you. Robert Wilson

I got my PPL this summer and I just wanted to say that the "RV community" is what flying really is about. Friendly, helpful, and gladly inviting new people to fly "real aircraft". I am surely looking forward for some flying in my own RV in the future (order sometime 2003 RV7A), and hopefully to fly from sweden to the US for Vans homecoming, in a couple of years See ya all there!!

I just found your site and thank you for all the great info, I will be spending some more time here. The POH is prefect for my RV6AQB, I plan on editing and using it. I just completed my wings, ie to flying status and moving back into the construction of the fuselage. My RV will be power by a Lycoming O-360A1A with a HARTZLL C/S prop. I am making every effort to keep this plane light, just X-Country instruments & min engine gauges. So far my construction is going smoothly even though I am able to work only 10-20 hours per week. I am building at my home in Arlington,WA/USA in a large heated barn/hangar.

Great article by Mr.Bowhay on the Sensenich prop, I really enjoyed it. However it left me with a couple of questions. What was the OAT at altitude, and that seems like a lot of fuel burn to run empty. I suppose most of that was due to the climb outs? Good informative article, I found it through matronics. Thanks......Happy Flying

Nice site, I always enjoy reading other peoples project info, it is motivational. Anyone thinking of building an RV should "just do it". The kits are top notch with much prefabrication.
